Juniper Maeisha is a playable Electro character in Genshin Impact. She is portrayed by Witch from the game Revived Witch.
One of the many sages of Sumeru, she was one of the few scholars who recognized the dangers of pursuing more knowledge than permitted, and thus withdrew from her previous path of searching for wisdom. Part of an Anima race known as the Flora, her natural affiliation with black magic has proven to be both a help and a massive hindrance.

Summary[]
As a youth born and raised in Sumeru, Juniper has been around scholars all her life. Her abundant treasure trove of books at home allowed her access to knowledge rarely acquired, something she was admired for. Like many others in her nation, she pursued infinite knowledge and wisdom, unaware of the raving mad scholars who had exchanged their sanity and sense of life for the so-called knowledge that they sought.
During her adolescent years, Juniper studied at Sumeru Academia alongside Lisa Minci, successfully graduating in just three years — something that she came to view as the proudest moment of her life. As most graduates did at the time, she traveled around Sumeru. It was during this period of time that Juniper came across all sorts of people — scholars hell-bent on their path to infinite knowledge, promising young individuals who were not given the spotlight they deserved, even posers who had no idea what they were doing but pretended to anyway.
Horrified by what she had seen as a result of the untamed folly in Sumeru and of her own foolishness, Juniper returned to the abode of the Anima, where she discovered that the place had been raided by scholars in their lust for power and craving for wisdom. The realization caused her to lose faith in the Dendro Archon, vowing never to go down that same path again.
